iPod Shuffle – the missing manual?

All of my songs were gone on Itunes (how did that happen?0 so I put them back on and plugged in my ipod and it said do not disconnect for more than an hr….but I di…..Now the “dont disconnect” stays on even after the unplugged and It seems frozen.

Any idea’s

If your itunes songs have been erased will it erase them when you plug in yout ipod to the computer?

I didn’t get a manual….PLEASE HELP
