The Amazon Echo arrived in the UK a couple of days ago, and by combining some of my earlier work with John Wheeler’s excellent Flask-Ask framework I was able to make it talk to my electric car.

Any intention to publish or share the Skill?
Not a dev but recently got the BMW (unofficial) API working here in Canada and having an online portal and Echo integration would be amazing (as it’s unsupported officially).

Hi Jeremy – You’re welcome to the code, but it also depends on my own little webservice, which is rather specific to my car so you’d need to set up and deploy your own copy of that as well.
