The Blackstone Key

“The footsteps grew louder, and now Mary could make out the dim figure of a man advancing towards her. What was he doing on that lonely stretch of road on a dark, inclement night? It seemed impossible that he was an innocent traveller, however much she wished he might be. His tread was too cautious, almost furtive, and he was carrying something… it looked like an unlighted lantern. Surely an honest man would not choose to travel in the dark?”

The UK edition of Rose’s novel, The Blackstone Key, hits the shelves on Thursday.

Is there an official launch / book signing in Cambridge? Surprised not to see you at the Apple store opening this morning 🙂

I was at the Apple opening – but taking pictures from above instead of standing in line. Evidence will appear here before too long!

We *are* having a launch party for the book, but I’m afraid numbers were of necessity rather restricted so we couldn’t throw it open to as many people as we’d like. There’s be a bigger one for book two, which comes out in a year’s time, I hope!

My selection of pics is at http://flickr.com/photos/geoffjones/sets/72157604268192968/ I very nearly bought the Air but trying to practice restraint at the moment….
