Bono aid is making Africa sick

I really don’t understand why Paul Theroux thinks it is unproductive and insane to send computers to Africa. He does nothing to explain that blast of Ludditism, indeed he moans on about deforestation yet wants to offer paper ………

Ireland as a model for Malawi is interesting, but not a new concept, and I’m sure he would not really want to turn the clock back and deny Africa the ability to join the wired world?

Phew! That’s better! Anyway, thanks for pointing up the article and putting my brain into gear for the first time this year!
