Ah, well you may need to add some exposure compensation to tell the camera that it should be whiter than a normal scene (or brighten it later). Focussing can also be a challenge if it’s really foggy so you need at least some things that are crisp or focus manually.
How did you manage to take a good picture of fog? I always get something that looks dim.

Was there much fog in the foreground of this picture? It looks pretty clear up until the third tree. Did you use any flash?
